Spiritual Care in Times of War and Displacement
Wars are one of the main causes of displacement and forced migration. Several million people worldwide are affected. They often flee to neighbouring countries, but also take great risks to get to Europe. Once they arrive at the place of refuge, they often need psychosocial support, which also takes into account religious and spiritual needs.
The conference sheds light on different regions of the world, also in order to learn from the experiences there for the accompaniment of traumatized people. In lectures and workshops, it offers space for inter-
disciplinary exchange. In addition to those generally interested in the topic, the conference is aimed at various target groups: those working in refugee aid, doctors, therapists, pastors, nursing staff, scientists, students, religious representatives, welfare associations, providers of integration measures.
Please note that Tubingen is still well visited by tourists in September, so it is advisable to book your hotel early.
